Functional Testing Process
Last updated:
Switching a device on proves that it switches on. It does not prove that the earphones pair, the watch charges, the speaker holds a connection or the hub passes data. This page breaks the check down by product category so you can see which actions are meaningful for each type and which claims a single “tested” label cannot carry.

Who This Page Is For
Read this if you want to understand how earphones, wearables, speakers, charging products, hubs, cameras and small accessories are actually checked, or if you have been told a product was “tested” and it still arrived faulty. It answers the practical question: what does a check for my category involve, and what does it leave out?
What This Page Is Based On
Mewoo checks every item before dispatch. The category examples on this page describe what a meaningful check looks like for each product type; they are not a statement that every listed action is currently performed and recorded for every unit.
A written per-category test method, a per-item result record and named test equipment have not yet been documented, so this page tells you what to ask for rather than presenting an unpublished procedure as a finished standard.
Define the Test by Category
Earphones may require power, pairing, left/right audio and charging checks. A smart watch may require power, display, touch, charging and connection checks. A charger may require connector, output and stability checks using suitable equipment.
These examples are planning categories, not a statement that Mewoo currently performs every listed action.
Power-on Is Not Full Function
A device that powers on may still have connection, battery, audio, display, button, port, sensor, account-lock, or accessory issues.
A test record should list each performed action instead of using a single pass label.
Document the Equipment
A publishable equipment page needs the real tool name and model, site photo or nameplate/purchase evidence, operation video, purpose, output, limitations, maintenance or calibration information, and proof of Mewoo’s use.
No identifiable testing equipment exists in the current photo set, so no equipment page is created now.
Record Fail, Partial, and Not Tested
Results should distinguish pass, fail, partial test and not tested, with a reason and next action. Silence must not be treated as a pass.
Buyers should confirm which result categories can enter the selected box.
Important Limits Before You Order
- Category examples are not current test promises.
- No identifiable Mewoo test equipment is available in current evidence.
- No coverage rate, accuracy, calibration, or certification is claimed.
- A basic check does not establish remaining product life.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you use the same test for every product?
That would not be credible. The method should follow the product category and available compatible tools.
Does power-on mean fully functional?
No. It only supports the function that was actually checked.
What if an item needs an account or special accessory?
Record the limitation and classify it as partially tested or untested under the approved rule.
Can I see the testing device?
A device page will only be created after real equipment evidence and output records are available.
Can a reseller request a test scope?
Ask about the relevant categories, quantity and record format before the quote is finalized.
