Product Testing & Quality Check

Last updated:

Every item is checked before it leaves us. This page explains what that check can and cannot tell you: which actions are involved for different product categories, why a power-on check is not a full function test, and what to ask for if a specific function matters to your order.

Who This Page Is For

Read this if you have been burned by electronics that arrived dead, or if you resell and need to know how much of the checking you can rely on. It answers the question buyers ask most bluntly: what does “tested” actually mean here, and is it done for every item?

What This Page Is Based On

Two things support this page. Our own review history shows that non-working products were a real problem for buyers, which is why the check exists. And Mewoo confirms that every item is checked before dispatch.

What we do not yet have is a written per-category test method, a published coverage rate, or a per-item record we can hand to you with an order, so those are stated here as things to confirm, not as guarantees.

A Test Claim Needs Five Parts

A meaningful test statement identifies the product category, the action performed, the pass criterion, the result record, and the person or role responsible. Without those parts, the word tested is too vague to help a buyer.

For electronics, appearance alone does not establish function. A clean package and a successful power-on check also do not prove every feature.

Testing Must Follow the Product Category

Earphones, smart watches, speakers, chargers, hubs, cameras, power banks, and accessories require different checks. A single generic checklist cannot honestly describe all of them.

A category page may be created later only when the real method, equipment, result field, and limitations are documented.

Untested Is a Condition That Must Be Disclosed

When an item cannot be tested because a cable, account, compatible device, battery state, sealed package, or specialist tool is unavailable, that limitation should be stated instead of converted into a pass.

Untested, partially tested, power-on checked, and function checked should never be used as interchangeable terms.

What the Buyer Should Confirm

Every item is checked before dispatch, so what remains to confirm is which functions are included for the relevant category, what is excluded, whether a record can be issued, and how a failed or untestable item affects condition and after-sales treatment.

If these answers determine whether you can resell the products, ask before placing a standard order.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is every item tested?

Yes. Every item is checked before dispatch. What that check involves depends on the product category, and a per-item test record is not currently issued, so ask which functions are covered for the category you care about.

What does a basic function check mean?

It means only the actions specifically listed for that category. It should not be read as a complete technical inspection.

What happens when an item cannot be tested?

It should be identified as untested or partially tested under the approved condition rules, not silently treated as passed.

Can I request test records?

Ask whether a test record can be supplied for the current order type and product category.

Does testing guarantee that an item will never fail?

No. A test describes a check at a point in time and within a defined scope; after-sales rules still need to address later failures.
