Incoming Product Inspection
Last updated:
The cheapest place to catch a wrong model, a short count or a crushed retail box is at the door, before anything is sorted or packed. This page explains what an incoming check should cover, how it differs from functional testing, what should happen to an exception, and how much of that process Mewoo can document today.

Who This Page Is For
Read this if you worry about the wrong item, the wrong quantity, damaged retail packaging or an obviously faulty unit slipping into a box unnoticed. It answers a question that sits upstream of every other quality question: is a problem product identified and recorded before it ever reaches your order?
What This Page Is Based On
Every item is checked before dispatch, and our review history shows why that matters: faulty products were a real complaint.
What we cannot yet show you is a completed incoming-inspection form or a continuous receiving record proving the same steps for every batch, so this page describes the receiving checks as a standard to confirm for your order rather than as a documented Mewoo procedure. Our photographs support the packing and shipping stage, not the receiving stage.
Receiving Is the First Control Point
An incoming check compares what arrived with the purchase or transfer record before items are mixed into a box pool.
The minimum record should include date, batch, supplier reference, SKU or category, model, quantity, packaging, exterior condition, obvious mismatch, and checker.
Inspection Is Not Functional Testing
Counting units and checking packaging can identify visible problems, but it does not prove that an electronic function works.
Items that require a function check should move to a defined test step, while untestable items need an approved condition label.
Exceptions Need a Destination
A mismatch should not disappear into a note. The record should show whether the item was held, returned, rechecked, reclassified, repaired by an authorized process, or excluded.
That trail is what makes a process page credible.
Current Evidence Boundary
The current folder does not contain a complete Mewoo incoming-inspection form or continuous batch records. This page therefore describes what the buyer should be able to confirm, not a universal completed standard.
Publication as an existing process requires real records and supporting photos.
Important Limits Before You Order
- No claim that every incoming item is inspected under a formal standard.
- No claim that an exterior check proves function.
- No invented rejection rate, sample rate, or equipment.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should be checked when products arrive?
Quantity, model or category, packaging, exterior condition, visible mismatch and the applicable next check.
Is incoming inspection the same as testing?
No. It identifies receipt and visible issues; functional testing requires separate actions and criteria.
What happens to an exception?
The approved record should show hold, recheck, reclassification, return or exclusion. The current process still needs evidence.
Can I see inspection records?
Ask whether a batch or order-level record is available for the current offer.
Do you use inspection equipment?
No equipment is claimed without a real name, model, photo or nameplate, operation evidence and output record.
