Battery Products & Shipping Restrictions

Last updated:

A power bank, a smartwatch, a pair of earphones and a wireless charger are all “electronics”, and all four can be stopped by a carrier or a customs officer for different reasons. This page explains the four checks that have to happen before a battery, magnetic or wireless product is shipped, and why a product category alone is never enough to say “yes, it can go”.

Who This Page Is For

Read this if you are ordering across a border and your box may contain anything with a lithium battery, a magnet or a wireless radio. It answers the question that ends more cross-border orders than price does: can this product legally and safely reach my country, and what has to be confirmed before it is packed?

What This Page Is Based On

Our review history includes late and missing parcels, which is why shipping eligibility is treated here as a pre-order check rather than an afterthought. The category pool for our boxes does include battery and wireless items.

We do not yet hold per-SKU compliance documents—such as CE, FCC, RoHS, MSDS or UN38.3—that can be matched to a specific product and destination, so this page explains the checks and documents involved and asks you to confirm eligibility for your country before ordering rather than treating any category as pre-cleared.

Product Category Is Not Enough

Two products in the same category can have different battery chemistry, capacity, cell count, installation status, radio function and documents.

Shipping eligibility must therefore be checked at SKU or confirmed assortment level.

Four Checks Before Shipment

Confirm the product attributes, supporting reports, carrier acceptance, and destination-country rules. A missing answer at any layer can change the route, cost, timing, or eligibility.

A general statement that electronics can ship worldwide is not sufficient.

Documents Must Match the Product

A report is useful only when the model, battery, manufacturer or responsible entity, test standard and scope match the product being shipped.

The current evidence folder has no verified SKU-linked CE, FCC, RoHS, REACH, MSDS or UN38.3 files.

Build the Quote Around the Restriction

For bulk or customized orders, provide the destination, categories, quantities and any battery or wireless preferences early. Ineligible products can then be excluded or the route reconsidered before the order is confirmed.

Eligibility and cost must be rechecked for the current request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can battery products ship to my country?

Only after the specific product, battery details, documents, carrier and destination rules are checked.

What is UN38.3?

It is a battery-transport test reference, but any report must match the actual battery or product and current shipping requirement.

Are all electronics covered by CE or FCC?

No company-wide assumption is made. Applicability and supporting documents must be checked by model and market.

Can I request a box without batteries?

Ask for the requirement before ordering; availability and box terms must be confirmed.

Who handles customs?

The responsibilities, documents, duties and importer role must be stated in the current order terms.
